Congratulations to Eve Layzell, who qualified recently as a Certified Hypnotension Practitioner
Eve will be serving clients with high blood pressure (Hypertension) from her practice in Norwich, UK
Eve was a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, qualifying from UEA, who decided to learn hypnotherapy after a Paul McKenna book helped her get through some personal problems.
Some time after re-training as a hypnotherapist with Joy Gower Training (which she highly recommends), she was diagnosed as having High Blood Pressure herself. She says:
“I came across the Hypertension Practitioners Course via the NCH and thought, ‘what have I got to lose!’. So, now I have lowered my own blood pressure which was at one point 190/102 down to a regular daily level of between 111/76 – 120/80.
“I put this transformation down to what I learnt on this course about my ‘self-induced-pressure’ and and a regular Juicing Detox (beetroot and celery are very important veggies for stress and high blood pressure!)
“Now… I am not only healthier but I’m also the 1st female Practitioner in Norfolk and only 1 of 3 in the Norfolk Area. Woo hoo! What’s not to like… Eve”
The Hypnotension™ Programme looks at a variety of lifestyle factors to establish which is likely to be causing or maintaining high blood pressure (Hypertension). These lifestyle factors are then targeted using specific cognitive and hypnotherapeutic techniques to help reduce the clients blood pressure towards more normal levels.
