Congratulations to Sue Leech, who qualified recently as a Certified Hypnotension Practitioner
Sue will be serving clients with high blood pressure (Hypertension) from her practice in West Harbor, Auckland, New Zealand.
GPs in New Zealand are guided to work under a ‘wellness’ approach to health rather than the older ‘illness’ approach as primary health care providers in the community, so the Hypnotension Programme is being welcomed as a positive adjunct to the treatments patients are currently undergoing with their GP or specialist.
Sue says, “In my busy Auckland clinics I see many clients who work under pressure and feel the need to consistently achieve quality results within tight deadlines. These pressures ultimately lead to people showing the signs and symptoms of workload stress which all adds up to raising Blood Pressure.”
“Adding the Hypnotension programme to my toolbox of techniques will not only help many of my clients who have these pressures in their day to day lives but will also assist those already diagnosed with High Blood Pressure by their GPs.”
In addition to the Hypnotension approach to dealing with high blood pressure, Sue is able to offer her clients a full wellness approach, including programmes for weight management and a very effective two session stop smoking processes.
The Hypnotension™ Programme looks at a variety of lifestyle factors to establish which is likely to be causing or maintaining high blood pressure (Hypertension). These lifestyle factors are then targeted using specific cognitive and hypnotherapeutic techniques to help reduce the clients blood pressure towards more normal levels.
